Within the last couple of weeks...
Jax found Will officiating hat in its case and was walking around the house saying, "I go to the game mom...bye."
The week before I delivered.
the night before I had Bridget...We decided to clean out the car, when Will came in to check on Jax..."Jax where are you?" "I eating chocolate!" Little sneaker found this bag in the pantry, he made a chocolate mess! He did look super cute :)

HI Dentist!
Today was Jaxon's first visit to the dentist and he was a super CHAMP!! There are a couple of posts to come like his birthday last week, happy 2!, and our FUN trip to California...cross your fingers I get them up this weekend :)
But back to - today! I can't believe that he was awesome for his first visit today. Last week I bought him a Dora book that is all about going to the dentist to help prepare him for today...(Jaxon loves Dora's show and books, so I thought that this book might help...and it totally did!) He was so excited be at the office and meet the dentist! He stayed in the chair and opened his mouth wide..."abre!" He let the dentist count his teeth and then he let the assistant brush, floss and paint the vitamins on!! YAY JAXON!!! Not one fuss?! They couldn't believe it since he just turned 2...for being so great he got to pick out 2 things from the basket :) how COOL! haha. He didn't want to leave! I took Jax to probably the best pediatric dentist office ever! When will was doing his internship here while we were engaged he did the remodel on this office and built the founding dentist's home (he is now re-tired). But this office is TOO cool. They have everything...several video game stations, fish tank, a huge ball roller coaster, a train that rides around the whole lobby, nooks built into the wall with activities everywhere...it was perfect! The rooms were equipped with tv's and for older kids video games were avaible...I want to play video games while they are drilling my teeth!!! Darn I am too old to be a patient :(
It is such a great feeling when your child has a good experience with something that you dreaded as a kid. I am proud to say that Jaxon has healthy gums and teeth!!
Great jod today JAX!! I LOVE YOU!

F-a-M-i-L-y
This was our 2009 Family picture we took in January and I meant to send it out to friends and family as a new years card...then a valentine...then an Easter card...yeah...I kinda missed the boat again this year on sending our family "christmas" card. With our new little addition in october, I am really hoping to have our FIRST mass christmas or new years card this year! I feel like such a lame-o for not having done one yet. Anyways, I figured it was about time that I had them scanned and up on our blog at least. Jaxon was 18mo. in these pictures and will be 2 next month!!! I love my cute little boys...aren't they handsome!

Jax, you're silly
the other day in the car I was asking Jax if Jaxon was his name and he said, "no" so I precided with is your name "bob"..."no" "is your name joe"..."no"..."is your name zizzer zazzer zuzz?"..."yes!" then the rest of the day he could stop attempting to say his new name. (in case you are wondering where did that name come from...its from dr. suess, abc and what begins with z? is Jaxons fav it makes him crack up everytime)
It is amazing how the goofiness just comes out in kids...jaxon is a super goof! he makes Will and I laugh all day. Jax is actually pretty good at talking and communicating about what he wants and doesn't. Currently with the new baby on the way if you ask him about his sister it depends on the day. yesterday he wanted a baby sister and wanted to share his toys with her...today he decided that he didn't, but after his nap we went shopping and he picked out an outfit on sale at babygap for his new little sis for next summer, he was very excited. while at the mall today we hit up victoria secret and people were getting a kick out of him sniffing everything in the store and saying, "nummy" after each sniff. I was thinking about getting my little sister in law a pair of cute underwear for her birthday (Will decided NO, sorry bethy I tried) but while looking jax kept putting underwear on his head and making silly faces. I have to say I love this silly boy!

Get with the program
I just can't get myself to be proactive about taking pictures...I forget to use my camera and when I do, I believe myself to be the WORST picture taker! Seriously we bought a new camera after Jax was born because my one from 6 years ago you had to be holding perfectly still so it would blur...yeah...same thing goes with this Sony Cyber shot! I have concluded it must just be me or from all mine (or Will's) messing around with the funky settings we get one non blurry picture out of 10 pics! Thats probably why I can't get with the program and take more pictures of the events in our life. Frustrating! This outburst came because I just loaded our most recent pics of the camera and there were maybe 20...sad in almost 2 months and 3/4 of them are blurry and the ones that could possibly be really cute are the blurriest. Here are the most recent pics of Jax:
He already has picked up on mannerisms...notice the elevated pinky while eating chips :)
My little Ethiopian child likes to run around the house with a yard stick, this time he reminded me of an episode on discovery channel I watched with my mom and Brady of these little warrior tribe kids running around with their spears.
Easter morning Jax wanted to show us and you the huge easter egg his grammie sent him in the mail..."thank you grammie!"
The Easter bunny decided to bring jax more cars from his favorite movie instead of a basket full of candy, he was soooo excited about having a Mack, Doc Hudson, Filmore, and another "Chou" aka lightning Mcqueen. One day while shopping at target Jax spotted this Chou easter basket...would not even let it go to have the cashier ring it up. I figured he would be over by the time we got home and I would just return it...no he slept with it for a few nights straight and still carries it around the house. I didn't have the heart to return it. This kid can spot chou anywhere! He even knows the music. We were in the car and he kept saying "Chou, chou" and we didn't have one in the car, but then we realized "life is a highway" was on the radio...too cute!
He had a really hard time carrying all his new cars at once.

I hate deciding on a title
So the Beauty decorum class I taught included babysitting, hair, makeup, table etiquette, hygiene...pretty much what every girl should know. :) It was fun. Tonight I finished the dance class that I taught, this was my second year. Their performance went well. When we get a new computer here soon I will be able to load our video camera software and post the videos of the dances. The beauty class as well as this dance class are an after school class sponsored by 21st Century Community Learning Centers, a federal granted program. I substitute taught at this middle school for a year and from that I got involved this program.
Our little family's schedule is now going to be very relaxing! Will is done reffing till the fall, I am done with my side job except for when I do my Pampered Chef shows, Jax doesn't care whats going on as long he has something that involves "chou" (translation: Lightning McQueen) or bubbles.
Jax and I are finally in the clear of our nasty colds. Jax got a cold first, from the lack of sleep and him coughing in my face I caught it, mine however turned into a super NASTY and painful sinus infection! I thought I was going to die, you know when you get so sick you try to remember what it was like to feel normal. Colds and infections SUCK because their is no light at the end of the tunnel, they usually and in mine and Jax's case seem to take forever to clear up. I was so grateful: The day after I had a really rough night, I felt like death and nothing was working to help any symptoms except sleep...but how do you sleep with 21month old little boy who keeps hitting you in the face with cars? Will was able to get off work around 10am and come rescue me. YAY! I had to get on antibiotics and since no over the counter medicines were relieving any pressure and furthermore the severe pain...they gave me prescription medicine, I think it was vicodin...it worked great! Even though Jax and I were a mess, Will managed to stay healthy. That would have been even worse if he was nasty sick like us. We were still sick Easter weekend so Jax had to miss out on an egg hunt :( hopefully we will be able to go to one next year.
I am now 14 weeks and I think I felt our little fetus last night and today...very faint but definitely not gas :) Will believes this child to be a girl...I don't know, but only 6 weeks till we get to try to find out!
We are hopefully putting our house on the market this weekend. We have finished our final projects around the house to have it ready. Its sad and exciting, I love our house, but this was our plan - 2 years. I just keep telling myself that we are just going to build again. we're not in a hurry to sell it, which makes it no stress.
In March we babysat families every weekend except for the last, then we went to rexburg to visit friends the last weekend. Thanks Melissa and Brock, we had so much FUN! (Jaxon misses his "cousin" Lukie) :) The first weekend in April we went to portland and saw Wicked...it was so much fun, we both LOVED it! (what a cleaver and funny side to the Wizard of Oz) I exchanged my Tiffany's necklace and got the one that I wanted. :) (I love it) We almost bought a Mac laptop, but didn't. We've decided that for right now we are going to do a PC. Its about time we upgrade our mode of transportation so we figured part of the Mac funds can contribute a to a new car. The Jetta seems to be getting smaller as Jax keeps getting bigger. ;)
Jax update: Loves to say "yes" (like a snake is saying it), "no" (with an attitude or on some occasions it is in a nice sweet and polite tone, which makes it kinda cute), " right now" (with a lot of force and he gets his whole body into it), "stop" (agitated and it's his newest favorite word and it drives me nuts!--I think I taught it to him while I was sick and he was hitting me in the face or pulling my blanket off me.) Jaxon talks a ton and has been putting quite a few sentences together. It is so much fun, as any parent would say, to observe him figuring things out and realise that he has done something himself. Everyday there is something new. HIs favorite movies are Cars ("Chou") and Incredibles ("Trevor"). Once and awhile I watch a friends baby who's name is Trevor. Jaxon pulled out Incredibles one day and was carrying it around saying "trevor" at first I was telling him that trevor wasn't coming over today, he then said "watch trevor." I then thought that he was thinking our little friend Trevor was baby Jack Jack, but he's not in the movie that much. But during the movie he'll continue to say "trevor, trevor, I see trevor." Now we are thinking that he thinks Trevor's daddy is Mr. Incredible. There is a resemblance. haha. :) Kinda funny, so now we refer to Incredibles as the Trevor movie.
Jaxon's favorite TV shows are Dora and little Einsteins...he loves Dora, but not as much as he loves Chou. :) You are probably thinking he watches alot of tv but really I do limit our tv/movie time. He watches tv while he eats breakfast and then we turn it off and then around lunch we watch part of a movie.
Lets see if I can make this the longest post ever! haha. I just feel so relieved that my after school program had come to a close and we are finally healthy again. Yesterday was the first day I turned on our computer in over a week...yes.... a week! Thats how frustrating our Internet is. I heard internet modems can wear out after a year or two, but I have to restart the computer and re-boot the internet..hmmm...today was 5 times, before it will actually load and bring up a home page. SUCK! I got on here tonight and decided that I wouldn't look at anyones blog till I put something new up here on ours. (when I get on here to do a post I check other peoples, get distracted and then i'm too tired to do my own) Will just asked me if I was writing a novel, haha. pretty much. so, sorry. Jax never lets me type during the day and reading everyone elses business is more relaxing than writing about my own, haha. Pictures take forever to load with my set up so I will so that tomorrow, that is something jax will let me do--'cause I just go back and fourth from the computer and playing with him. So, if my stupid internet will boot up tomorrow I will post cute pictures!

Grounded from hot tamales
Isn't it towards the end of February that people blow their new years resolutions? I have been grounded from hot tamales till I get my butt in gear and make this blog more interesting...(thank you jenny :) ) It is partially due to our crappy internet service provided by verizon I seriously have to restart the computer 10x to get it to work. I think our computer adds to the slow factor of getting things uploaded. We are debating on what kind of laptop to get...cost wise I am leaning towards a dell with all the features I need and Will wants to convert to a Mac. I like macs but not the price. It is hard for me to pay double! I've only used macs a few times for internet usage and only used photoshop for an advertising class a few years ago so I really don't know my way around a mac. with the pc I have only heard negatives about vista, no positives. So really I don't know which one to go with? what do you think?
Between babysitting families and teaching my "beauty decorum" class we have managed to fit a few things in:
Will had a birthday and is now...29, we ate at PF Changs with the family then had cake and ice cream at our house.
Jax is picking up on some more dance moves he gets down! We were watching America's best Dance Crew one night and he was getting into it.
A few weekends ago I went to Portland shopping for the weekend with some friends...it was almost too much fun! :) Kjaersten had a birthday and her thoughtful husband sent us all away for the weekend.
On Valentines Will and I went to a yummy local restaurant, Casa Mia for lunch and went to a movie, New in Town. The day before he had roses delivered and the day of, Tiffany's arrived! I mentioned a few days before I was going to treat myself to a necklace. So he decided to order for me and even though I appreciate his efforts...he ordered the wrong one. When I do get the right one I will post a picture.
Will's Brothers family is in town for the week and tonight all three grandkids shared a bath in grandmas new tub. We are excited to spend the week with them!

Pictures
Santa Baby - Jax was too scared to sit with santa by himself.
We tired to take a family pic in front of our tree, something was wrong with the camera and I had two cranky boys.
Jax LOVED being at the fire station...he couldn't get enough. "What's thaaa...what's theeeese....ohhhhhh....ohhhh.....theeese....theeese.....want that!" When I told that when he got big like uncle nick he could drive a fire truck he said, "woooo" it was super cute! (Jax and Nick share their birthday)
Christmas morning, they both had x-mas hair and the christmas morning haze :)
Jax liked me to take him for rides on this little quad, then he would want to ride on all the others. I think he's gonna love the dirt and be a dirt bike kid
He was reading so serious...I came back to find a mess, but he kept flipping through the books like he was trying to find something.
THE CRUISE
Stacey, me, Megan, Melissa, & Jodi Such a fun group of friends!!
"Watch out 'cause I might seriously hit you with my ball." My ball was out of control, I'm not good at all!
Sorry there isn't a recording and I am kinda glad there isn't. I think I would die if I really heard what I sounded like, I was so embarrassed, it was awful! But I think if another crowd is as drunk as ours was, I would do it again, it made it not so bad, except for my friends who had to cringe through it :) Thanks you guys for not making fun of me :)
I think I am all caught up with pictures, so hopefully in 2009 I will be a lot better at this. Its a new year, that means a new start.
