what color?....now updated

[it's not a very good picture, 'cause I ran out took it really quick and ran back in to post it for you :), I'll take a better one later :)] Thank you all for your opinion, it was a toss up for us and Will made the final vote since it was 50/50. We are happy with the results :)

the front door and shutters are now painted a very dark brown...(bitter chocolate) now it's time for the garage doors, my first instinct was to paint them dark too, I think it would look cool. the other option is to paint them the lighter trim color....what do you think? I have to decide tomorrow :)

Good bye September...HeLlo OCTOBER??

Well that went super fast...didn't realize that it's been a whole month since the last post...soRry :)
I can't believe September has already passed by and now we are into October, that means it's almost time for another Eastern Washington Winter....SAD... :( But as Pollyanna Harrington would advise me on this seasonal downer...find something to be glad about...I guess that means it's time for vacation planning to go elsewhere...haha. We were so happy to have my cute little Mazzja...(aka: Mom) in town to play in early September. Jax loves his Grammie, it was too cute, every morning he would greet her with a smile and finger point. As predicted, he waited to officially start walking until she came in town. When my mom is in town we enjoy just hanging out at our house, eating cookies, and shopping. ;) Its always a sad day when my mom and I have to say good-bye, we hate that we live so far apart. After my mom left it was hard to get back into the swing of things. Then our sister-in-law, Michelle was in town for a visit with her two cute little ones...Dayton and Daphne. It was fun to have them staying at our house because we got to play all day and get to know each other better. Dayton will be two this month and Daphne is 6 months. Jaxon and Dayton were fun to watch interacting with each other, I think they will be little buddies. Dayton loves to build and Jaxon loves to destroy...haha. Whenever Jaxon would get close to something he was building, Dayton in his cute little voice would say, "nooo jaxon" but it sounded more like, "nooo chicken." Now that we have no visitors I have to get back to my huge TO-Do List.... :( SAD. haha. Don't we all have one...it almost seems never ending...but I guess thats life, what else would we do...what would be our motivator? hmmmm. Anyways.

Will has started Officiating football, I'll have to post a picture of him in his uniform for you all to see, hehe. Will's friend JJ has introduced him into the world of flying remote control airplanes. I got him his first plane for our anniversary because after he flew JJ's, he "Had" to have one, and would pout and talk about it all the time. Then JJ got a bigger one that goes super fast...Will "Had" to have one too, so he could go out and play :) Needless to say Will got his Christmas present already...spoiled. It is pretty cool though. Just a few hours after he bought it he decided , despite the weather conditions, to take it out for its first flight...4 seconds later...crash...he broke the nose. Good thing you can glue and tape it up a few times before you have to buy another body for the plane. Next time Will gasps at the price of a pair of shoes, purse, or home decor item I want...I will remind him of his airplane. :)

Will and I cannot get enough of Jaxon...we love his guts! Despite the fact he is only 14 months old he has such an individual personality...he is such a boy. He loves trucks, destroying stuff, machines, dogs, rocks, dirt, watching basketball, bugs, being outside, and flirting with older girls. Right now he is into waving and saying hello to everyone, walking down the street collecting rocks, pointing and saying "thieese, thieese." He doesn't say too many things clear but he does say: Da or Dada, side (outside), thieese (this), shoe, oh, no-no-no. He loves to dance to classic rock, but not so much to hip hop. He's tall, skinny and has little buns. :) Its funny how naughty little kids are, they know when they are doing something you don't want them to...I try to keep the bathroom doors closed, but within the last two weeks he has managed to get in there the two times I've left a door open. Splish-splash...he loves the toilet. He looks over his shoulder and just laughs and tries to do as much splashing he can do before I can reach him. Naughty &&& GROSS. I wasn't too grossed out because both times were pretty much after I had just cleaned them, but still. GROSS.

News with me...Besides new home decor, I have some cute new shoes, a beautiful coat my mom got me for my birthday ( when I wear it I will take a picture and post b/c it is fabulous!), ohh, I don't think I ever did the post I wanted to about my piano. Yes, I finally got a piano. After two years of watching craigslist I found a piano that I never thought I would get. I couldn't decide whether to settle for an older one or keep saving to buy a new one in a few years. I am soo happy I didn't settle for a few that I was looking at, because I finally a newer one was posted for an awesome price and Will said "go for it!" I was so excited! So, I have a new piano, its a Kohler & Campbell black upright piano and it sounds beautiful. Jaxon loves it too. :) I have recently started selling Pampered Chef. I love selling it, its a fun thing to have on the side and the products are really cool. So if you are in need of any cooking products or want to know more about it you can go to my website @ pamperedchef.biz/sweettooth (I am not allowed to post a link to it on my blog, but if you do want to check it out for those of you who don't know what it is, don't forget to put the www. before it ;) )
Somethings up with my camera and the usbport so I have to post some updated pics tomorrow...I promise. ;)

sMooTH LeGs...YEAH!

So for the last four years of my life I have been shaving my legs with the mens razor Mach3 because Will used to use it, but now has an electric razor, so I have been trying to use up our huge costco pack of refills. (that was a total run on, but you can do whatever on blogs...right...haha) Anyways, I was always frustrated that I couldn't keep smooth legs for very long if I successfully achieved them at all with that razor. Finally I ran out of refills and had to go buy something new...as I stood in the razor aisle at good old Walmart, I was apprehensive about which one to buy, it was almost overwhelming :) I decided to get the one with the most blades (more blades, closer shave...right?) I proceeded to buy the Venus Embrace with 5 blades. Also I decided to treat myself to some new shaving cream since I was also trying to use up the costco pack of mens Gillette shaving cream ( I thought I liked the smell of the guys stuff :/ ) Let me tell you...the New Satin Care Alluring Avocado smells sooooo good! As I was shaving my legs the other day I could not believe how smooth my legs were getting and how much fun I had at such a mundane task. I started to sing..."Man I feel like a woman" in the shower and came out bouncing and prancing around to show off my fancy SMOOTH legs to Will.

JULY

Jax and I have been gone most of July and a lot has happened, hence I haven't posted forever...not that I am very good at being consistent at posting new and exciting things :)
Within the last few weeks Jax has three new teeth, which makes the total right now seven and he is crawling all over the place discovering that he can get himself from point A to point B all by himself if he wants to. It is such a pleasure to see the look of satisfaction on his face when he knows that he is doing something all on his own. Something he taught to himself is to make the sputtering sound for trucks and tractors...I guess it's just embedded into little boys DNA. :)
We spent a week down at the River house and Jaxon loves to splash and kick, I am so pleased that he loves the water. Its amazing how liberating it is to do things you love to do after almost 1 1/2 years of not being able to do something. I love the feeling of being pulled behind the boat waterskiing or wakeboarding, I love the anticipation of catching air on the wakeboard and hoping that I will land in one piece. :) It was a fun trip hanging out with the family! Jaxon loved playing with his cousins, its always fun watching and observing how Jaxon and his little cousin Sadie interact with each other. They are TOO cute!! We spent extra time in California with Grammie and Dude...aka...my mom and dad. Grammie taught Jax how to say "sit"...Jaxon loved to spend most of his time standing in front of the screen door watching Roxy (their Jack Russel) jump and run around. It was too cute to hear is little voice sweetly utter..."sss...sssit." While we were down there he also said , "Hi," for the first time, again...too cute. :) haha. Before we left California we had a July Birthday party for all the July birthdays in the family...Nick (brother), Kirra (niece), Gavin (newphew), & Jaxon. Nick and Jaxon share the same day. It was sad to leave because time passes too quickly while I'm down there, and too slowly till I can make it down again. It was strange to come back home because we were gone for so long, I kinda felt like what did I used to do and how do I get myself back into the swing of things? have you ever felt that way? hmmm...its kinda like after I graduated college and I wasn't doing anything, it took a long time to rid myself of the Sunday night stress...the feeling of there's something that I should be worried about and what am I forgetting. :) anyways....
SO we got back and started a swimming class that my friend Kimberly is teaching. Jaxon loves it. It startles him a little bit when I dunk him, but he is over it really quickly and goes back to jabbering, splashing and kicking.
Wednesday was Jaxon's 1st Birthday!! Such a big boy! It was fun, we Barbecued and of course Jax had his own piece of cake. At first Will was apprehensive about decorations...and I told him that even though he doesn't really know whats going on, he'll look at pictures and appreciate the memories we tried to create for him. Decorations aren't that expensive and they just make it more fun! :) Duh! Although, after it was all set up...Will really liked it and said that it was definitely worth it. :)

Early Birthday

So, we've had really bad weather up here in the Tri-Cities...which allows me to do more shopping...hehe. I have been watching the seasonal section (currently, it is "Whim by Cynthia Rowley") at Target for some balls to make Jax a ball pit for his birthday. luckily on Monday they finally went on sale. It was a score!! I bought 4 bags of balls which = 400 balls :) FUN!! At first Will thought I was crazy, but I opened one and within a minute balls were all over the room, and Jax couldn't get enough of them. Then Will decided he couldn't wait till Jaxon's birthday to set up the pool with 3 of the bags. Needless to say, Jax loves it!!!

Weekend in Utah

This last weekend we went to Utah to visit our family and attend a friends wedding. Surprisingly, Jaxon was really good in the car. :) Will and I are extremely lucky to have such a wonderfully tempered little boy. Even if it was just for a little bit, we really enjoyed visiting our family and friends. Every moment counts, because really... you never know when you will see someone again. During the wedding, it really touched Will and I both when the sealer shared a story about just before his wife died..."I kissed my wife every night before we went to bed...the night before she passed I kissed her as usual and she said, 'Honey can I have another'... We should have happy good buys, because we never know when it will be our last."

It was such a beautiful time of year to visit the SLC Temple, the flowers were out in full color. Which created perfect family photo opportunities, hehe...

Yeah for SPRING! It's amazing how refreshing sun and flowers can be, I have learned to really appreciate them while they are around...because the time between is long and cold.

Blues eyes...
chicks dig it!

Jaxon's handsome blue eyes and infectious giggle get me everyday... it makes everything worth it.

Jax LoVes his cous' Ashlyn.

"Does this shirt make me look fat?" hehe... cute boy.

Saturday afternoon we went to visit the Powell family in Ogden. It was too cute when Jax could not get enough of Sandy...this little boys LOVES dogs!

I guess its about time?

I' ve been meaning to get this blog started...maybe it's just me, but with a little one it is really hard to get things done on the computer during the day. I pretty much have to do it all at night and by that time I am wiped out. Hopefully after teething and this new cold Jax will give me a little more free time. Awhh...the joys of motherhood. haha. Anyways, my two little boys (Will & Jax) are fast asleep in their beds, which gives me a minute to at least get one official post on our new family blog. Hip Hip HOoray!

Updates:
Will is still happily working as a project manager and estimator for a local construction company and enjoys mowing our lawn to create perfect lines. :)
Jaxon is 9 months and as cute as can be! He has four teeth, loves to flirt with the ladies and chill with the boys.
As for me Kaili, besides my playdates with Jax everyday, I am currently teaching a dance class twice a week.

I am so excited for the summer, my pastey white skin can use some nourishing sunlight!
